Because Americans and/or others have wanted attention directed towards the 9.11 attack, which undoubtably was triggered by the February strikes in 2001, information and decisions that led to the February strikes should be investigated.  

It should espcially be investigated if the information decisions that led to the strikes were based on was correct and if there is a chance someone wanted to provoke people in Iraq and by that wanted to cause a retaliation.
